Information we collect
When you use NexaBuilder to request contractor matching or a project estimate, we collect the following information you provide: name, email address, phone number, property address or ZIP code, project type, project budget, project timeline, and any additional project details you share through our AI assessment. We also collect standard web analytics data (pages visited, device type, browser, referring URL) through Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Google Tag Manager.
How we use your information
We use your information to match you with CSLB-verified licensed contractors in your area, generate AI-powered cost estimates for your project, contact you about your project request, improve our matching algorithms, and send follow-up communications about your project (if you have opted in).
Information sharing and lead distribution
NexaBuilder is a licensed contractor lead platform. When you submit a project request, your contact information and project details may be shared with:
- Matched contractors: CSLB-verified licensed contractors in your area who are matched to your project type and location.
- Partner companies: Our verified partner companies (including Fitzhauer Construction and TipTop Restoration) for projects that match their specialties.
- Lead networks: Third-party home improvement lead networks (including QuinStreet, HomeAdvisor/Angi, and Modernize) for projects where we believe they can provide relevant contractor matches.
By submitting a project request on NexaBuilder, you consent to be contacted by matched contractors and our partners by phone, email, or text message regarding your project. You may receive multiple contacts from different contractors.
TCPA consent
By submitting your information through NexaBuilder, you expressly consent to receive calls, emails, and text messages (including via automatic dialing systems and prerecorded messages) from NexaBuilder, our matched contractors, and our partner network regarding your project request. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Data retention
We retain your project request information for up to 36 months to facilitate contractor matching and follow-up. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at privacy@nexabuilder.com.
Your rights (California residents)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, request deletion of your personal information, opt out of the sale of your personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies through Google Analytics (GA4), Microsoft Clarity, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and TikTok Pixel to analyze site traffic and measure the effectiveness of our contractor matching service. You can opt out of analytics tracking by using your browser’s privacy settings or browser extensions designed to block tracking.
